Hi, I'm Amanda. I help good organizations grow.
I've been in marketing for more than 20 years, and the thread running through all of it is simple: I love helping good work find the people it's meant for.
I got my start in direct marketing at Digitas, where I helped grow a two-person media team into a group of more than 100. That's where I learned the lesson I've carried ever since: the best marketer listens first, then proves it made a difference.
From there, I found my way to the causes I care about most. I built the first digital fundraising practice at Thompson Habib Denison, helping organizations like the Alzheimer's Association and Make-A-Wish reach new supporters. I worked with the donor engagement team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. And I spent seven rewarding years at the National Fire Protection Association, helping a century-old membership organization grow and connect with the people who keep our communities safe.
Today I lead marketing for a national property restoration services company, and through MacMarketing Services I partner with organizations I believe in. Recently, that's included The Arc of Massachusetts, where I helped recruit the caregivers who support people with disabilities across the state, and Brewster Academy, where I helped families discover a school that could change their kids' lives.
How I work
I'm a collaborator at heart. I'd rather roll up my sleeves alongside your team than hand you a binder and walk away. I'll ask a lot of questions, tell you honestly what I find, and celebrate the wins with you when the work pays off.
Why this work matters to me
In honor of my daughter Michaela, I've spent years as an advocate and fundraiser for Autism Speaks and other organizations supporting the autism community. That same commitment led me to complete a LEND Fellowship in neurodevelopmental disabilities at UMass Chan Medical School.
It's also why I light up when I get to work with disability and human services organizations. They do some of the most essential work there is, often with the fewest resources, and good marketing can make a real difference in how many people they reach.
